Plans? What plans?

Today has been a day of plans made, changed, re-made, and scrapped. I planned on an alpine start at the climbing gym. Scrapped due to absolute exhaustion. Planned on watching my nephew for the better part of the day. Plans changed. My sister-in-law had a great interview and did not plan on going to a work meeting on her day off. I left earlier than I had anticipated, but then plans were re-made to watch my nephew, as her boss insisted that she go to this meeting at work today. So, I’m watching Squiggle Bug for at least another two hours. He’s asleep right now. He fell asleep about 15 minutes before I got back. If he’s going to sleep as hard as he played this morning, then he’s going to be asleep for a while! I hope he has good dreams. I hope he has a great life filled with happiness. I love the little guy. He’s a happy fellow in general so far. At 7 1/2 months old, he already has quite the personality. I’m glad I get to be an aunt. I couldn’t handle being a parent, but being an aunt is fun.

I’m not sure I’m going to make it to the climbing gym today due to the cold and plans being what they are today. I really want to try climbing in my new Duluth Trading Co. pants! They are so comfortable and they’re a bit stretchy so that they give when and where I need them to! They should be great for climbing! An added plus is that I found some in a 28″ inseam, which is hard to find. That means I don’t have to roll the pant legs up so far! I should get to try them out tomorrow for sure, if not today. I need to get back on the wall and force this lingering respiratory crud out of my body! I need to climb! My stress tolerance can’t hold out much longer without a good climb, and a good, well-established climbing routine to go with it!!! Updates pending…
