Daylight Saving Time is almost here! Next Sunday, we “spring ahead” one hour here in the U.S. Don’t forget, or you’ll be late to whatever you have planned on Sunday and possibly Monday! I’m warning you ahead of time! I’m so glad that it’s that time of year again. Really. Today, where I’m at, the windchill is -45º F and it’s bone-chilling, bitter cold. If you sit in your vehicle with the heat on for a while, though, the sun is out and it actually feels warm! It’s so nice to feel the warmth of the sun instead of it just producing that cold, white, frosty light that it so often does in the winter. Radiant heat! Yes! We’re that much closer to spring and green things popping out all over the place and warmer temperatures! Today, I wouldn’t mind if it was 90º F. I really wouldn’t. At least it’s not snowing again, though. Yet. I’ll say “yet”, because here in Montana, if you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes and it’ll change. Guaranteed. Anyway, Daylight Saving Time is fast approaching, so don’t forget! It’ll be great after you get used to the new time schedule. Losing an hour is easier if you go to bed an hour earlier Saturday night after resetting your clocks. Just a tip. It may or may not work for you, but it helps me psychologically, at least. I don’t know if it helps me physically because my sleep is always jacked up, but that’s all I can do about it…
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
