If you’re confused about what I mean when I say “feed the rat”, then it may be beneficial to you to read my last post about Julian “Mo” Anthoine. He coined the phrase “feeding the rat”. It’s the you that you think you are feeding the real you – who you are inside and underneath all that outer fluff. So how do YOU “feed the rat”? How do YOU test your mettle to see who you really are and what you’re really made of? Or do you ever? Do you ever really put yourself out there to find out? Or do you stay in your safe zone and talk a big game without really knowing what you’d do in a life-or-death or difficult situation? You only have to answer to yourself, but what is your self going to think of your answer? Are you content not to know the answer? Or are you uncomfortable with that unknown? What would you do if…? These are all questions that you have to answer for yourself to yourself. Be careful what you seek, but seek something!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
