Senator Mitt Romney is a disgrace, both to his “faith” and to his country. I share both with him, and I refuse to claim him as a member in good standing in either respect. First of all, he lied and cheated his way into that Utah Senate seat and then used his “faith” to justify his deplorable actions, making it seem as if all those sharing his “faith” are of the same mind. Mitt Romney does not speak for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, its members, or its doctrine. His “faith” is his own, and it is in no way connected with the Church’s position. Mitt Romney had no right to pose as any kind of spokesperson for the beliefs of members of the Church, which is, unfortunately, how his statements are going to be perceived by society at large. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints myself, I call on Senator Mitt Romney to consider the harm that he has done to the Church and it’s good works by using his “faith” as an excuse to sin. Repentance is in order for all who sin and wish to gain forgiveness from the Most High and good standing in the Church. Enough said.
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
