When I couldn’t find it in the Scriptures, I decided to Google it. Boy, was that ever interesting! I wanted to know what color the eyes of Mary, the mother of Jesus, were. I got all kinds of feedback on Google, and none of it agreed one iota. One site said blue. Another said green. A different one said dark. What does dark mean, anyway? Brown? I was trying to do an artistic oil pastel piece and I really needed to know something about eyes, especially the iris, up close. I settled for a YouTube video that assumed Mary’s eyes were blue (at this point, I had decided to make them blue regardless) and listened to “Ave Maria” play in the background as this YouTube video showed me exactly what I needed to know about the human eye up close. So, it wasn’t a total loss. Thanks for helping me find YouTube, Google.
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
