Happy Thanksgiving! I want to tell you what I’m thankful for. I’m thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m thankful for my Church. I’m thankful for the ability to climb. I’m thankful for my miraculously healed broken wrist that, although not perfect, allows me to continue to climb. I’m thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful for my excellent doctors who care for my needs day in and day out. I’m thankful for my friends who stick by me through thick and thin, good days and bad. I’m thankful for my body, which is going to get a long-term workout starting tomorrow. I’m thankful for food, clothing, shelter, reliable transportation, and the means to maintain the necessities. I’m thankful for my blog fans, followers, and readers — you keep me going when the going gets tough. I feel truly blessed on this day dedicated to thanks and encourage you to take a few moments today to think about and write down what you are thankful for.
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
