Brad Gobright was best known for his free soloing, but the reports coming in are that he died in a simul-rapping accident in which he and his partner did not have knots tied in the ends of their 80-meter rope. From what I understand, his partner rapped off the end of the rope, sending Gobright into a free fall and Gobright missed a ledge that may have otherwise saved his life on the way down. Gobright’s body has not yet been recovered to my knowledge. Alex Honnold expressed his sadness over Brad Gobright’s death on social media. Gobright was only 31 years old. I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
