Got to Nebraska last night at 1700 hrs with my aunt and my mom to visit family for Labor Day. We’re staying at my cousin Kevin’s house (very nice house that he and his wife at the time built themselves) and got to see Uncle Kenny and Charlene last night for supper. Uncle Kenny stopped by again this morning and last night and this morning were the first times I’ve ever seen him with stubble on his chin. He was tired – he works really hard as a farmer down here. Last night, we had a thunderstorm after supper and it was nice to be sitting with some of my favorite family members visiting during it. Charlene brought brownies with walnuts that were really great!
