I love it when I get invited to speak at baptisms! It’s so exciting for me to be able to deliver a Spirit-inspired message about the momentous decision to be baptized into the Church! It always makes me feel like I’m getting baptized myself all over again! Today, Jeany got baptized, and tomorrow, through the laying on of hands of priesthood holders, she will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and be a full-fledged member of the Church! I can’t wait. Being a part of these ordinances in one way or another is a great honor and a privilege for me, and I love doing it. I prepare in advance, but the Holy Spirit guides me because that is what I ask of Him – to fill me and give me the words and the ways in all things that God’s will may be done. I am but a conduit. I am an instrument, a tool, and I enjoy it!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
