It seems like an awfully lonesome road that I’m walking right now. I’m missing my Pop today. My mom is in Nebraska visiting family for Memorial Day. I’m house sitting. I could’ve gone, too, but it’s not a very good time for me to be traveling since I’ve been in the hospital very recently. I rode the stationary bike at the climbing gym for less than six minutes this morning and then came back to my mom’s house. I have a friend who makes cards and I was just thinking that one of hers would be great for Father’s Day. Then I remembered that Dad is gone… There’s no one to get a card for this year.
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
