Formed an outline for my book

Yes, I’ve decided that I’m going to write a book.  Maybe I’ll write two or three…or just one.  It really depends upon whether or not I can get my book published.  I have to write the manuscript first, though.  First drafts are critical.  Bad first drafts are the best!  That’s what my doctor, who has an English degree, says.  I formed the outline for my book this morning.  We’ll see how the writing goes.  I have no idea how long it’s going to be, what will be in it, or how it will all play out.  I don’t know a thing about it, but I’m going to do it, anyway.  Like I said, we’ll see how it goes.

I can’t give you any more hints because I don’t have any.  I’m literally doing this for the first time the way you’re “supposed” to do it (that is, with a written outline).  This book will be creative nonfiction, and if you understand what that is, please clue me in!  I’ve heard creative nonfiction kicked around as a term very loosely, and can’t quite figure out what genre that is, other than to say it is one of biographies and historical accounts written long after everyone who lived through it is dead and gone.  Oh yes, and memoirs.  Memoirs are also included in this genre, which is, as I stated, very loosely put together from what I can surmise.  I do have a title for my book, however I’ll hang onto that piece of information until my manuscript is well underway and might seem to actually work out.
