Our group met yesterday for the beginning of Week Two of our Starting and Growing a Business course. We had our full group there yesterday, which was great, because I met someone new who is extremely creative! She has her own business and is looking to expand it, and she had so many great ideas for my fledgling attempts and thoughts! It was amazing! We are “Action Partners” (accountability buddies) for this week, and we’re meeting at her house on Wednesday so she can show me what she’s been working on. How cool is that?! She wants to learn to Bullet Journal as well, and I’ve been doing that for a few years now, so I can give her some resources and tips and tricks for that. I think that will really streamline her life for her – it sure has mine! I’m excited about this new friend of mine. It seemed we were instant friends the moment we introduced ourselves to each other. She’s definitely one that I’m going to keep in touch with. We made a good mutual sounding board for one another’s ideas yesterday afternoon and I can’t wait to see what she does with her business! I think she could be a huge success (and already is). Growth isn’t going to be a problem for her business because it is very unique and potentially very useful to a wide variety of people. The other couple in our group has their own business as well, which is a hugely successful one, but they even have more than one business! In short, I’m with a great group of people and I’m excited to see what comes out of this at the end of 12 weeks in this Self-Reliance class! It should be great!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
