Yes! It’s true! I can wear gloves again! Given the bitter cold temperatures we’ve been having since the beginning of February and the amount of snow we’ve gotten during that same time period, I’m really excited about this! I finally get to wear gloves on both hands without “modifying” the left one (outright ruining it for all future use) to accommodate the thumb spika splint. I might wear gloves all day just to celebrate! Okay, probably not, but it was a fleeting thought that I had to share because this is so cool! Actually, it’s more of a “warm” thing to be able to wear gloves and not freeze your fingers and hands off… I have trouble with the pain in getting them on and off, but that’s okay. The pain is just something I’ll have to live with for the rest of my life, so I might as well get used to it. I’m just happy to go outside so I can put my gloves on today!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
