The 2019 Montana Bouldering Championships, Part 3

So, let’s see if you guessed correctly when it comes to what climbing shoe models ended up in the finals, shall we?  Here goes!

Going into the Men’s Open Finals, the six climbing shoe models that the climbers wore were:

6th rank – Five Ten Moccasyms, 5th rank – Five Ten Team 5.10’s, 4th rank – Scarpa Instincts, 3rd rank – La Sportiva Maverinks, 2nd rank – La Sportiva Skwamas, and 1st rank – La Sportiva Solutions.

Going into the Women’s Open Finals, the six climbing shoe models that the climbers wore were:

6th rank – Evolv Shamans, 5th rank – La Sportiva Katanas, 4th rank – La Sportiva Finales, 3rd rank – Scarpa Vapor V’s, 2nd rank – Scarpa Instincts, and 1st rank – Butora Acros (Wide).

After a wild and wonderful display of skill and luck, ooh’s, and aah’s, lights and shadows, which shoes ended up on the podium?  Before reading further, take your best guess!

For the Men’s Open Finals, 1st place went to the La Sportiva Solutions, 2nd place went to the La Sportiva Skwamas, and 3rd place went to the Five Ten Moccasyms.  For the Women’s Open Finals, 1st place went to the Butora Acros (Wide), 2nd place went to the Evolv Shamans, and 3rd place went to the La Sportiva Katanas.  Surprised?
