I woke up thinking about how great it’s going to be to climb in them today, now that I’ve trimmed my ingrown toenails! I forgot to do that yesterday and that made things a bit uncomfortable, but that’s not the shoe’s fault. I don’t have badly ingrown toenails, but I do have to dig them out once in a while and keep them trimmed, not too long and not too short, otherwise they’re a pain…quite literally! I meant to to trim my toenails yesterday, but forgot in the haste of overwhelming stress to do it. It caused some stress later! This morning, I was in some pain, but I took care of it and now I’m ready to send again!!!
As far as the shoes go, I don’t know why I never thought of it before – the Czech Republic folks probably make climbing shoes for people of Czech descent like me that fit Czech feet…and they do!!! I’m really enjoying these shoes!!! My feet are happy, therefore I’m happy! I’ve really gone through some struggles finding shoes that fit my feet just right. I keep trying new ones (expensive proposition, let me tell you!), and they all have features I like, but none of them have ALL the features I NEED! I think (at least I’m hoping) that the Lowa Rocket climbing shoes, size 7.5(M)US, just solved all my problems!!! We’re sure going to find out!!!
