I might go just for the burgers and hotdogs or whatever they’re BBQ’ing. I don’t think I’m going to climb today. I haven’t gotten a reply from the doctor on what’s going on with my wrist yet, and I haven’t received any treatment for it, either, so I think it best to stay off of it until we have a plan of action in place. Kind of sad. Okay, really sad. I want to climb!!! I’m a climber!!! I need to climb!!! I don’t want to do it at the expense of damage to my wrist, though. That would be bad. No further injury is my policy right now. That’s usually the best plan of action until you have an actual plan of action, I’ve found. It’s hard, but it’ll be fun to be able to watch everybody, anyway. Truly no pressure! And if they have raffles, I’ll be entered for those! It ought to be fun even though I’m not climbing.
I did some more watercolor painting today. Just washes of different colors and some interesting effects. Nothing earth-shattering. I’m listening to some acoustic guitar arrangements of hymns right now on my Aftershokz Trekz Titanium earphones, and the sound is great!!! I love these earphones! I have two pairs. One is just for backup in case something happens to my main pair. I love them! Bone conduction tech. Who would’ve thought? We have some neat tech in our world today. I’m just thinking of what my grandma would think of all of this stuff. She died in the early 2000’s, and was born in 1913. She was 92 when she passed away. Just think of the things that she saw during her lifetime!!! Her family came over on a ship from Bohemia, which is now eastern Czechoslovakia. Wow, I wonder what I’m going to experience during my lifetime?! I’ve already experienced some really big things in the years I’ve been alive. I never thought, for example, that I’d be a rock climber. It just never crossed my mind, but here I am! I’ve had quite the life so far!!! I plan on continuing to have as many experiences and gaining as much knowledge as I can during this lifetime, too! That’s what I’m here on this earth for! I’ve only got one life, so I’m going to LIVE IT!!!
