The Hometown Pull Party is tomorrow night! What is that, you ask? Well, it’s Billings, Montana’s community climbing competition at SteepWorld Climbing and Fitness. This is the first time they’re doing it, so we’ll see how it goes. The idea is to get some of the beginners into the competition scene and let them try it out to see if it’s for them or not. I think it’s a great idea! The barbecue that goes with it is what I might have to settle for with my wrist the way it is at the moment. I still haven’t gotten a cortisone shot for it or anything. I might message the doctor today and see what the deal is on that. He might not have had time to look at the x-rays yet, or he may have to refer me to ortho (please, don’t let that be the case!) for the cortisone shot. I just want to get back to climbing!!! I think that, whether I climb or not tomorrow night during the comp, it’ll be fun to be amongst the folks at the BBQ and see everybody fall off the walls trying to send whatever wild problems the route setters come up with! It depends on how busy it is… Should be a good time, though!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
