Well, my mom couldn’t make it into town today due to all the snow that fell overnight, and that’s still falling, so I’m watching Squiggle Bug today. I have an appointment later today with my doctor, so Jerrold is going to watch him downstairs while I’m at my appointment and then I’ll take him back upstairs to watch him until my sister-in-law wakes up. All of this depends heavily upon everybody’s nap status, of course. It’s not an exact science, but rather a delicate art form! With 8″ of snow safely predicted by the end of the day, things should be that much more interesting! My nephew is asleep right now, and I hope he’s able to sleep for several hours this morning because he hasn’t slept well for several days and nights. I think he’s so over-tired that he doesn’t know which end is up. I also think his teeth are bothering him something terrible. He’s nine months old today!
I brought my Ten Sleep Canyon climbing guidebook up with me to peruse while Cullen sleeps. I’m excited to dig into this seemingly long-forgotten tome and pick out some routes I want to climb this summer! I need to work on getting my climbing routine back and getting my climb on concerning roped routes and grip strength, not to mention endurance, so I have more routs to choose from! I also need to learn to lead climb and get proficient at it before we get into the full swing of things. That will also open up a lot more route options for me, both locally and afar. I need to lose weight, and I’m working on that. The medication changes that my doctor and I just made could make that aspect more difficult, but I’ll find a way to get it done. I’m determined to get into the best shape of my life!
Uh-oh… Squiggle Bug is squiggling! Gotta go!!!
