The art of starting over. I can’t say it’s much fun, but it’ll get better. I have to start out slow after this long illness and this hiatus from climbing. Hopefully I can make some steady progress and bump up my game fairly quickly if I do this right. I want to make sure I do it right, though. No skipping steps if you want to be your best!!! Shortcuts don’t make things easier in the long run. Only hard work will ultimately lead to your best performance on and off the rock. Tomorrow, I will begin chipping away at these training pyramids and the cycling warm-up. We’ll play it by ear and see how I feel during all of this. I’m on the mend, so things should be looking up. I just don’t want things to slide back downhill again!!! I’m so excited to be able to return to climbing!!!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
