The Nicholson Diet

I’m recommitting to the diet that my doctor gave me – what we call “The Nicholson Diet” – because I lost 15 lbs. on it before and I think it’s a good, sustainable diet with weight loss that can be sustained as well.  My doctor came up with it himself and has used it successfully.  Here it is:

Breakfast

45 grams Wheat Montana 7-Grain Cereal (or oatmeal), 32 grams Peanut Butter, 6 oz. Water = nuke x 4 minutes and mix with 1/2 cup milk + artificial sweetener to taste

1 Piece of Fruit

Lunch

1 oz. Salami

1 oz. Cheese

8 Ritz Crackers

40 grams Dried Apricots

1 Piece of Fruit

Supper

Vegetables (not potatoes, peas, cooked carrots, starchy stuff) – anything that is a leaf

High-end Soups
