Today has been such a weird day. Just weird. I called to find out the status of the gym around 1600 hrs. Only three kids showed up for the after-school program that the climbing gym has on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I decided to give climbing another go. I tested out my new Tarantulas on various holds and problems and projects… They are comfortable. I’m debating on a half-size smaller shoe. I don’t want them to be too tight – the name of the game with these shoes is comfort and not foot-binding! I might try a half-size smaller shoe on tomorrow just to satisfy my curiosity. The shoes work well, though. Comfortable, reasonably priced, and basic. I just have to learn to climb in a basic shoe again! I’m not sure I ever really learned how to climb in one to begin with due to my ankle brace issues starting out and all of that. I climbed enough to satisfy my climbing urges and desires today, at least. It is so different climbing in my gym than climbing outside and climbing at the gym in Bozeman. The new climbing gym that should be up and running the beginning of November will be a welcome addition!!!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
