AJ ended up not having to work today, and I was going to go to Spire either today or tomorrow, so I asked AJ if he wanted to go and off we went! Punch 1 of 10 on my punch card for Spire. Tuesdays are boulder setting days and Wednesdays are rope-route setting days at Spire. Monday through Friday until the end of August, there are kids’ camps during the day. When we arrived today, there were over 50 kids there. We got there at 1100 hrs. The kids left at noon. I got to meet Taylor, the head route setter at Spire. She is a really cool person. AJ and I stuck to rope climbing today. I toproped and AJ did a combination of toproping and lead climbing. We did some fun routes and had a good time. I felt good about what I managed to climb today, and we celebrated our climbing adventure afterwards with La Parilla burritos. I had a shrimp fettuccine alfredo burrito. It was really good! Today turned out to be a great day!
Content Rating PG, for the most part
I try to keep the content of my posts in the PG range (meaning that maybe your 13-year-old should not read it... Just kidding!) - you know, something I could get away with tastefully in the town square without getting lynched, tarred-and-feathered, or hung (and something my mother would NOT wash my mouth out with soap for). As far as what age you have to be to understand some of the subtleties of my humor in writing and/or speaking, well... That may vary. A lot.
